A new day brings a new outdoor adventure in the magnificent landscapes of Greece! In the northern part of the country, Lailias Mountain stands out with its breathtaking beauty and rich diversity. On our recent trip, after enjoying the serene beauty of Kerkini Lake and Kapnofyto Lake, we decided to delve deeper into the region. Our journey led us to the stunning “Black Rock Waterfall”, situated approximately 5.5 km from Kapnofyto Lake. This hidden waterfall added another layer of adventure and discovery to our experience, showcasing the diverse natural splendors of northern Greece.

In this post, we will explore a nice, easy but still exciting hike towards Tympanos springs and waterfall. This hike starts from the picturesque village, Kissos. Kissos, located on the east side of Pelion at an altitude of 520 meters, serves as the starting point for this enchanting expedition. Positioned approximately 48 km from Volos, the charming village offers the perfect gateway to the springs of Tympanos.
