The climbing community of Ermionida in East Peloponnese witnessed a climbing revolution in the early 2000s, when Jim Titt and Inge Zaczek equipped over 200 routes on the limestone rocks in the area using stainless steel bolts. In 2021, Climb Ermionida undertook maintenance works on various crags and replaced several anchors with high-quality certified materials. In 2022, the community developed a new crag, Petrogerakas, and established new routes in Castle Thermisia and Ermionida’s crags, along with developing a new crag, Pleiades, with a focus on MultiPitch routes. In 2023, they further advanced their developments with the 10th crag of Ermionida, SunCastle crag, and carried out maintenance and rebolting projects in the area.
